Over the course of his career, Robert has established himself as a visionary thought leader, a sought-after public speaker, and a globally-recognized, award-winning cyber security expert.

Robert has held various cyber security leadership positions within the private sector; perhaps most notably as the Cloud Security Lead at shipping and logistics industry giant A.P. Moller-Maersk, Principal Cyber Security Lead at the world’s leading open-source software company, Red Hat, and Head of Cloud Platform Security & DevSecOps at Danske Bank, one of the largest banks in the world. In these roles, Robert has aided leaders, advised peers, and mentored employees to develop and advance various programmes, projects, and initiatives.

Robert is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Cyber Operator, specializing in cyber architecture, engineering, and operations. As a Non-Commissioned Officer, Robert defined his service by leading a dedicated team of skilled professionals while completing many time-sensitive and mission-critical objectives.

Robert excels in the creation of strategic and technical cyber security architectures for Enterprise organizations, leading and innovating security initiatives during large-scale digital transformation, and in acting as a key subject matter expert and advisor to executive leadership and key IT decision-makers.

Robert currently resides in Copenhagen, Denmark, with his wife and two incredible children.
